Iris Fletcher is a self taught abstract
artist based in the Mid-West. Her me- dium of choice is acrylic paint which
she often applies to her canvases using a variety of pallet knives.

Iris was born and raised in New York City, New York and relocated to Kansas in 2010. She has exhibited in many galleries here in Wichita, Kansas and in Kansas City, Missouri. Iris also engages in digital arts and coffee art. She has had a profound interest in the arts beginning at the age of seven.
Artist Statement
Every piece is my unsaid thoughts on canvas. The colors are filled with my core, fantasies, and realities waiting to be inter- preted. I distort reality in abstraction.
